:mad: I'm installing vista ultimate after i enter the product key and agree to the license agreement. the system ask me to select the mass storage unit or drivers. and when i try to select the raid 5 driver for the vista 64 bit it doesnt show any options.(i'm trying to pull the driver from the support cd that came with the MB). I even had the support cd to install them on a floppy drive to see if they can be loaded that way. Maybe i'm thinking about the wrong drivers but i setup the bios for raid 5. my system is as follow
qx6800
asus striker extreme
6 samsung spinT 500gb
4 gb patriot memory
2 sony dvd burners
2 8800 ultra
if you can please help me:mad:

[QUOTE=Ava1anche;2360443]Installing RAID/SATA Drivers on Vista (http://vistasupport.mvps.org/installing_raid_sata_drivers.htm)[/QUOTE
I had already attempted to install the driver as your link suggested. i put the CD in and selected the drivers folder vista-64 bit raid. if i removed the check from the box(hide all Incompatible drivers) it shows the drivers for vista but wont allow me to select anything. any suggestions?

Have you tried to download the driver from Nvidia's site?
Driver Versions:
* Ethernet Driver (v65.74) WHQL
* SMBus Driver (v4.60) WHQL
* Installer (v5.52)
* IDE SataRAID Driver (v9.92) WHQL
* IDE SataIDE Driver (v9.92) WHQL
* RAIDTOOL Application (v9.83)
* SMU (v1.31) WHQL
Link (http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf680iSLI_winVista64_15.01.html)
Extract this file and copy the drivers to a floopy. Hopfully this will work. This is what I did when I installed my RAID 5!
