I just built my first personal computer. I ran 3DMark06 with my rig with everything stock. I got 5500 even. I overclocked my e4400 first. I got it to 2.7 with stock voltage. Then ran 3Dmark06 and came up with a score of 58XX. Today was my first time toying with my Video card clocks. I got them to 639/813. I ran 3DMark06 again and came out with a score of 6196. Im extremely new to all of this so i hope i can get some helpful input from you guys.

What do you mean by real time? Sorry im really new to this stuff. My cpu is 50-51 C at full load. Stock cooler w/ AS5. I'm using the program Coretemp.
EDIT: I ran 3dMark06 again with all programs turned off (anti-virus, xfire, vent, steam, etc.) and got a score of 6237

nice score. I'd recommend Shin-EtsuMicrosi thermal compound (www.microsi.com). intel uses this stuff and it's pretty good. Got my Pentium D 950ES down from 45C with AS5 to 38C with this stuff (at idle), and there's no figuring out how much thermal to put, you just put the whole stick on :D

Thanks, with the AS5 you just put a grain of rice amount. Im looking for someone to help me with my e4400 OC. I wanna get to 3.0 but it wont let me adjust the volts or i go through an endless reboot.

I made an extremely noobish mistake and placed my DDR2 memory in the lsots right next to each other instead of both in orange or both in yellow. I got a score of 63XX. Not sure if that made the difference, but now they are running dual channel. :D
