Okay so using a TEC it is highly recommended to use an aux psu due to fire risks regardless of the options a manufacturer's tec waterblock gives you (IE 1000 watt ps.

I was reading about safety issues with a TEC and possible pump failure or someone not turning the pump on, etc.

So here's what I was wondering. I have only read about swiftech's relay that will shut everything down if fan rpm, water pump, etc gets to a critical level, or just doesn't have a flow rate, etc.

Are there any other devices out there that will monitor the flow rate, water temp, fan speed, cpu temp that will shut the system down if one goes below a certain level?

I used just plain old common sense with my setup (other then my Y) but I used an under monitor switch box! I was the only one to touch my system and after I felt good and ok with everything I showed my wife what to do and told her that she must do it this way or she will burn down the house. :D

I guess I should add I had pump tec and 2 120 fans running on my meanwell. that way if power went out and came back on when I was not home then nothing would be harmed other then the 30 min of waiting for the cpu to warm up that way it would come on. :D

I use a relay that turns on my secondary PSU at the same time my computer turns on
