Vista TV Tuner Help!!

Hey guys, well I'm just going to copy and paste the message I sent to Hauppauge tech support: Hello Hauppauge suppot. I need help on an issue with my PVR-150MCE and Vista Ultimate (32Bit). Recently, Vista Media Center has failed to recognize my TV Tuner and gives me the error "TV Tuner hardware not installed. Please insure it is installed and plugged in." The problem is, device manager recognizes the card perfectly and it says drivers are up to date. I've tried many things such as: Reinstalling my Vista Codec Pack, installing the TV card in a different slot, reinstalling drivers, and constantly searching support forums. Please help me solve this issue as I need to be able to access my TV tuner to record some programs. Thank you.

Same here, I also have the PVR150:

tv tuner no longer recognized in vista media center
video thumbnailing is now also laggy in media center
tv tuner (when it does work) causes bsod's

I used cat 7.4 with no errors
I contacted ATI support and they said to use cat 7.5

Looks like same problem with ati's own tv tuner

This problem was new to me also. I havent used the live tv function since the card was new with Cat 7.4. I tried different codec packs, uninstalling and reinstalling different apps, shutting down apps and services. I worked on this for about 3 days until I tried using older video drivers and took care of the problem. I'm hoping this problem is fixed with later cat's.

Have you tried older forceware's?

u need to dload beyond tor at least i had to for my x800 xt AIW and my miedia box with a 9800 pro AIW
