Nice overclock... A great first post.

Though I'm sure that SuperPi is slow for that speed, probably because your RAM looks bad.

Why 3:2 divider? :X

Insane CPU. I love the new G0.

Is this basic watercooling, no chiller or fresh cold water from the tap?

That's with his bad ram ;)

sick 1m speeds for water man. What is ambient temp?

Wow!!! 4.4Ghz on water it's very very good!
You must put this chip under extreme cold:)

thanks for the comments

yep It's basic water cooling setup , no chilled or cold water and no ice
only A/c was open - amb temp 18 degree

the batch : is a lucky L720

it's 3,5 hrs stable at 450x9 : 4050 mhz vcore : 1,55

and can take all benchs at 4200
wprime 1024 & 32m stable at 4250 ( not tested further ) vcore : 1,75

mobo is Evga 680 i SLI nf68 AR ( bios P30 ) , just want to see the max of the cpu on h2o , so fsb and memmory running unlinked ( thats the reason of the absurd ram ratio )

I saw max 530 fsb but İ think its the mobo s max

hope to improve my spi 1 m with my brand new mushkins ;)

Great results! 4500 CPU-Z and 4400 Super Pi are pretty much my goals when I get my L720A960 watercooled (have done 4,1 Pi and 4,2 CPU-Z with stock cooler).

Nice OC

Had a chance to grab an L720 but I took the L722 instead:brick: ... but its still ok, 4500mhz suicide on plain water as well...

:D under cascade !!

Nice.... what was the max fsb on air? curious how much fsb running it on cold adds.....

what the hell

somebody get me a core 2. this is just ridiculous. my AMD processor on ln2 (assuming it doesnt coldbug) couldnt come anywhere near the performance of this on water.

:(

awesome clocks btw.

Sweet, are you going to use the same hw as with the water setup or?.

AuriL
08-11-2007, 10:43 AM
nope not exactly the same hw

my friends have lots of parts , we can try some different configs to get the best result

Oliver
08-12-2007, 04:14 AM
Okay, can you tell me which hw :D, or am i going to wait and see when you post a new thread or update this ;).

Nice ghip Auril.
Just curious why you did'nt use 3,3,3 timings at 327Mhz, you would've had a better 1m time.

we tried ln2 on this chip but our mobo was able to make only 577 fsb , could only 5200mhz , sorry no validation - I forgot it on my friends hdd
with a p35 mobo I think we can do 5500+ ( just a tought :ROTF: )
the wallpaper is the ln2 setup

here it is Vid:1,2750 :D

just want to see what the cpu can do max ?!!!
mobo is 680i , so I didnt touch the ram freq & timings
I replaced the corsairs with mushkin xp6400 ( can do 1300mhz cl5 vdimm:2,5 )

here is 32m at 4300mhz - 477mhz 4-3-3-3 ( vdim: 2,25 )
