View Full Version : E6850 L719B027 uder my cascade. (5.1GHz SuperPi)
Today I got retail E6850. I put it under my cascade immediately :D
Processor: E6850 retail (Voltage 1.7V - 1.76V) -75 ~ - 100
Batch: L719B027
Fsb wall ~570MHz (P5K or this cpu)
P5K Deluxe
Mushkin XP2 6400 4-4-4-8 2T 1:1
CPU-Z:

Superpi (performance level 7.)
62463
Superpi 32m (my memory is limiting here)
62460
Pifast:
62462
Wprime 32M:
62459
Everest mem bandwidth :( :
62461
Nice chip, but for some reason it feels slow. My Mushkins couldn't do more than 600MHz 4-4-4-8, so there is not much room left anyway.
I booted at 498MHz fsb and clocked it up with SetFsb. I have to try max fsb soon and vmod or watercool my chipset :yepp:

Good result SF3D, but in 1M how do you set the memory???
PS: sorry for my bad english:p:

sweet clocks brotha. crap i knew that i should have got a e6850 instead of my crappy e6750. :(
oh man 1m is so close of being under 10s .. maybe there are still some room to tighten those memory settings..:) btw what is the ram voltage ??
great jop as always.. :toast:

come on, I want to see sub10 s 1M PI :)
Sorry guys..I'm lazy these days :(
This XP install is really old. There is no optimizations at all.
Just installed this cpu and run the tests. Maybe I have to do more benching soon.
Mem is running 1:1 and timings are 4-4-4-8 2T. I changed Tfrc to 22, nothing else.

Those times are really slow, what's the performance level? Check the times in my sig, they're faster clock for clock, especially the 32m which is without copy waza, and they're all 4-4-4-x 1:1 with loose subtimings. With copy waza and tight timings I could knock another 10s off that 32m (except that i sold the e6600). My guess is that the strap and performance level are just too slow at that fsb with the P5k, not the mem.
Edit: LN2 and that chip could fly, 600mhz 1:1.

Your Mushkin are D9 GMH?

I think limit was P5k, if you use Performance Level 7 in same time. Lot of P5k max can about 570FSB with PF 7.;)
Stapler- Yes, I know :)
Zannema- Chips are D9 GCT. These are really nice and cheap sticks.
over@locker886- I'll try 8 next time.

Results quite good for SuperPi32 should be increased the others! I have more good results in Pifast and wPrime on E6600> 5GHz
always... ;)
Little update:
Uder 10s. 9.984 :D

Fsb "wall" is around 572MHz. Performance level 8~10 couldn't help in this case.
This would have been great cpu without this wall. No extreme overcloking (LN2) with this chip :(

Nicely done ;)
