ok, im sick of my old A-Open case..... ive been running it for at least 8 years+, and its been through many build, it was beige at one time, then pained with bsaf single stage automotive paint system, aluminium with bronze flecks.....

anyways, ive decided on the Thermaltake Mozart TX. i like the size of it, and the room i would have for my water setup. i would also be considering settung up the other side of the case with a second system, but not a priority.

has anyone here have expeience with this case? all i seem to see is "stacker, stacker, stacker"...... i dont like to run with the crowd, so im NOT getting a stacker.

also, i want to get a third 19" monitor, but am unsure if i should get a matrox triple head 2 go, or a PCI-X 1X video card to run it..... but thats another issue.

so. whats all the mozrt tx owners take on this case? on another note, my decision isnt written in stone, im open to suggestions, just dont say "stacker"

heres a pic of my old dog of a case...... soon to be retired. (i will build a system for my wife/son- with my old 2400+ athlon mobile. as soon as i find a good used socket A board, it seems a trip to the museum may be in order....)

It's a very attractive case with one nasty failing.
Made by TT, it's built to really only suit TT rads. To take advantage of all that space for descent quality rads takes more modding than you'd think.
Add in the question, if you're going to WC your new build, why buy a pile of TT fans as your first step?
Reluctantly, after a good look, most pass it by. One as new, at half price took weeks to sell over here recently. Wasted a chunk of time and money for a guy who bought first, researched later.
Who really wants a HTPC on top of their quad, when you could have a quad from MM or Lian-Li?
The Lian-Li 343B is a sweet case. Wish they sold where I live.

Mountain Mods (http://www.mountainmods.com/)

maybe a UFO or Twice7, want to get one, but need the room first. They also do customs

are you apposed to all cooler master or just the stacker? the new cosmos looks pretty got for a WC setup.

I like the Mozart too, and think it would be cool to have to rigs in one house, but you are limited to ITX boards in that, with a MM custom you could have anything on the other side.

Its all up to you buddy

Do you plan to leave it bone stock? I would consider that running with the crowd...

i'm thinking of getting a mozart tx as well... the idea being of filling it with rads and get a silent result.
i live in France so MM are out, so is the LL 343. Are there any other cases with the same potential for watercooling and silence?

i doubt it.(running it stock)

ill find something to change in it im sure. first off, im 90% sure i wanna go with phase.

ill find the second part when i get the case.

i just like the size of the case, and the room it will give me to run more than one loop if i desire.

im looking at going with phase on the cpu, and water on the NB/GPU.....

ive seen the water for the ram and mosfets, im just not sold on it though. we'll see what comes of it.:)

i have this case and i like it, it has tons of room for wc and whatever else you put in it, except i was limited by the number of 3.5 drive bay it had (6). oh ya the case is huge.
