vista, mic, sb audigy se

Well ever since i switched to vista i have been having problems with my mic. I bought SB audigy se because the box say's "works with windows vista". everything works but the mic doesn't. The mic works on my media center pc w/ onboard sound but just doesn't work with the audigy. I tried the suggestions found on creative forums but none were useful. I went to recording set mic to default, went to configure and tried to set up the mic but nother happens. Anybody else have this problem, anybody have a fix?

thx jaws!!!!!! I was on the verge of getting a new sound card but the first link (using line out 3 instead of the mic in) fixed the problem now i can use vent.


WTH creative your manual sucks.
