nice result there. insulation around the socket looks easy - is the area around it totally free of parts?
that would be another good point for this board as I hate most ones with condensors and resistors and whatever around the socket :/

what vmch/vtt/vsb/vich you using?? i'm guessing new bios furthered fsb average for most users?? I remember when the board first came out, most people were topping around the 500fsb mark.

subtimings fixed yet or still a problem? any way to adjust the performance level from bios?

wow! nice results man! $100 mobo's beating the cr*p out of more expensive ones. :D hehehe

biostar use solid caps and bios that are simple to use(4 voltages),unlike the dfi rd600 which is crazy(10+ voltages).i would never buy another "top"name brand board again after trying em all threw the years. im currently using my biostar 965pt and there simply mind blowing for anyone who wants hi fsb for tops $120.asus,dfi,gigabyte,msi are all way to much money and always seem lately to have somthing buggy with them and there new mobos needing new bios, this mod, that mod for 400-500fsb attempts.the biostars are screamers right out of the box period.
AMAZING but pretty typical of biostar and there p965\p35 mobos they bring to us without the stupid price tags others feel they must charge with average performance, thanks biostar!!

biostar is foxconn btw...,.,.,

i bought 3 biostar 965pts for $50 each open box at newegg.2 sitting nice and comfy in my closet and flashed with newest bios after being tested. 3 mobos $150,rofl!?1?!?! might sell 1...pm

AMAZING OVERCLOCK btw.....

Wich Board , The TP35D2 or P965 ?

Because to Reach Higher FSB than 500 mhz , you 'll have The CPU without FSB Wall @ 500 mhz .

vFSB and Vmch are Good in Auto for 500mhz :)

i can boot at 522fsb at 1.36 vcore and im super pi stable and a few other benchmarks i can do. but not 100% stable and i can not boot 523fsb i will keep tryin to figure it out. very nice board so far with 500fsb 100% stable at 1.34 vcore and havent tried higher for 100% stable yet but will. everybody who gets this board for 100 bucks will be very very happy. i know i am and its a joy to see high fsb:D .

:toast:

EDIT: ok my ram can go 570+ and i dropped multi to 6 but still only 522fsb boots and not 523fsb. could somebody tell me what it could be. either board or cpu wall. im hoping board but not sure. havent tried more than 1.52 vcore but im not scared to push it a lot higher.

its P35...no memory dividers, just ratios which means 1:1 is the lowest it goes. this isn't a motherboard limitation, its the chipset.

on a side note, the 'higher-end' version TP35D3-A7 Deluxe i have is pretty much a waste of time. i may just have a bad sample but this one has given me nothing but trouble. vCORE reverts back to default after a reboot 75% of the time, memory dividers not working, 440ish FSB limit (my CPU does 560 on every other motherboard with ease), memory clocking only to DDR1400 regardless of voltage and looser timings...such a mess. good to see the DDR2 version kickin some butt and taking names.

nice results on this budget board Pt1t
