we have cheats int 3dmark03 also.. a 21k score.. dont futuremark see this things and erase them,and bann the user?

I dont know what u think about this..but this sucks!

I was lazy so i only changed the score and not the fps so thoose are real.
Dunno what else to say to prove it, i could give you the addres to the value if you want to see for yourself.

I knew that u couldn't prove that.. and so i asked u!

I tottaly aguenst this type of acts.. I would never try or even use a "hack".. I like to bench and see the true results.. worsth than cheating like nvidia and ati in the drivers is doing fake results!

I hope that u are happy with that.. its always nice to see dishonest people out there.. it reflects the world where we are all living in

play nice guys. its a moot point. anybody who knows 3dmark would know thats a bs score. its an eye sore at worst. what bothers me is two new people starting trouble with eachother. so just be nice if you see somthing in these fourms that you dont like just tell a mod or just walk away from the conversation. and welcome to both of you.;)

I never said I wasnt new here, I only got stumbled to see someone making a thread about that benchmark. And of course
thats a bs score, I just wanted to see if I was able to hack it and just for fun get on the top. You can only guess how stumbled I were when i found out it worked :slobber: . BTW try to send a mail to that mail and youll see who it is.

When we're constantly questioning the validity of scores, it cheapens the whole hobby. I mean if I go and spend $500 on a new fx5900 ultra so I can gain 500 marks...I'd be a little depressed if some of the guys ahead hacked and fed fake data to FM

So it's OK if we have Nvidia done all the cheating for us, all rolled up in one driver set, but when we DIY it's bad eh ?

I mean using factory equipment, we all run around and see who can make it scream...right? Anyone can buy a vid card, but how many cn write their own driver code or design hacks??

i don't know if it's still the case, but approximately one year ago, i was abled to cheat 2k1, using a cheat often used with Counter Strike, something that made you run faster, but it also affected any proces running on your pc, including mark ... I got it from some site, and apparently it worked... :)

This sort of stuff (http://www.overclockers.com.au/techstuff/a_speed_cheat/) is already in the public domain, there's no point trying to hide it. Better that everybody is aware of it so that we know what to look out for...
