I'm not trying to pour the haterade on Mike. Believe me, I'm not. But whenever I go to build a new rig -- which happens at least once a month now, it seems -- the last thing on my mind is cable management. In fact, it's a rarity for me to even conside whether I should spend time concealing cables during the first pass of a system build.

He is using watercooling so it may not matter where the wires go, but then again this article isn't about cable management at all. It is about screw management, which I have problems with myself.

I have a ziploc bag with smaller bags inside, each with a certain type of screw. Coarse thread, fine thread, mobo standoffs, fan screws, thumbscrews, and jumpers. I'm overly organized lol :D

OK ok, the jumpers aren't really screws but I don't know where else to put them.

Lets see, I have a few on my desk here that I have no idea what they go to, theres a box behind me with some in a bag and others just about the box (most getting stuck under the carboard flap). Then there's that case over there that has a random grab bag of screws, also there may be some in my spray paint box, and others in the box that used to be the box behind me. So... maybe case manufacturers giving specialized accessory boxes isn't such a bad idea ala the coolermaster cosmos.

Don't worry, they're in the right place. :D

I believe its a double meaning for "Scews" one being the screws to attach to things which was discussed in the article and the other meaning of screw which means forget about. In this case, forget about wire management. So double meaning title :D

I have been using the same ziplock bag for 4 years. it has some holes in it and contains ALL my screws. I do work as a PC tech so I have lots of screws lol. Way too lazy to sort them, they just get dumped on whatever desk is nearest and then the search begins.....

The man speaks the truth... I have done 5 or 6 motor swaps in my "car days" and ziplocks are a LIFE SAVER!!(no I don't mean the candy ;) ) But, PC screws are not that hard to find or keep. Hell I have a few bags of old pc screws. Once you have a few left over from old build you have plenty. I mean there are only a few types of screws in a computer. Now if you do have proprietary hardware, by all means keep up with it! But, I don't see the biggie with screws haha. I guess this was written for a first build?

bithkits... you only have one bag, hehe? You have to have more than one of those schmorgesbords of screws so you can forget where one is, haha. I do that all the time. I have like 4 bags of screws in my office with all kinds of them in them. So, when I lose 3 of them I have one left and vice versa, haha.
