Looking at the label its a 300watt unit.

Probably not much use for CPU cooling but might be fun on a GPU

If the price stays low one of you guys shuld buy it, it miht be fun to play with.

yeah holst I don't think it would work on a cpu but it does look like fun to play with. I don't figure the tec is even 300w.

from what I can tell the unit is one of the things they use in hospitals to get a persons temp regulated between hot and cold.

Yep its a tec chiller, a proper tec chiller. Those work very well. Would need two though to do a CPU n GPU setup to a controlled temp.

18 GPH.....

also theres no way it could keep up with a CPU :(

yeah i was going to get a higher powered version of it, forgot the name sorry.

Its basically a waterchiller made for cooling medical laster equipment and such. Not suitable for the load of a cpu. Unless you plan to mod it, i would stay away

we never said it would cool a cpu!

you know there are such things as beer coolers! :D

it would be pretty effective, but still i would tear apart a fridge and make a cooler/phase type thing...

littleowl

so then why not make a chiller or a phase. Tec is for the most part useless when your talking about chillers or phase.

LOL, I was looking at the same thing before... the problem with that is that the hose connections.

they dont look like normal compression fittings. I dont know what you would have to do to make that work
