Testbed
- Asus P5K3 Deluxe, 0604 BIOS, no vmod
- Core 2 Duo E6420, 1067FSB
- 2x1GB Supertalent DDR3-1600 9-9-9-21 Micron z9 chip
- PSU 600 watts
- Video card 8800GTS 640 MB at default GPU/RAM frequency, ForceWare Release 158 Version: 158.22
- WD Raptor 74 GB 8 MB cache
- Air cooling with Zalman 7700CU
- windows xp sp2
- Ambient temperature was 24 °C

SuperPI 1M ran without any optimization and without any tweaking, it ran just to try stability.

imagine this cpu on the DFI P35

I am not sure that the FSB wall is for the mobo or for the cpu. I have to do some other run.

I imagine this cpu with more cold!

1M to test stability? errr...

Sorry but this is my fault because of my little english! :D
I did not write what I was thinking!

I have to find the exact word, is not stability but an acceptable stability in this extreme conditions.

This evening (in Italy) I have to try with superPI 32M and with Orthos to see if this settings are really stable (I do not think but I have to try).

After this explanation do you understand what I mean?

It was 1.64v from bios reading (cpu-z is bugged).

It was 1.64v from bios reading (cpu-z is bugged).

yep thats why i was asking... not very likely that the cpu would be running at those kinds of speeds with only 1.238v :D

Impressive :) Nice chip you've got there. 1.6+ vcore is pushing it for air tho dont you agree?

i meant in terms of reliability - some watercooling may help control the temps and help it live longer  Impressive none the less.
