Looks pretty savage, have you got any internal shots of the built in NB waterblock. It would interesting to see what Asus have have done with it.

Can't wait to see this board in action, have fun!

.
so what does that mean 8 out of 10 millimeters ? 10 millimeters in a cm.
since a cm is less than an inch... cripes,, what does that convert to.
3/8 inch ?

13mm = half inch. 8mm is between quarter and 3/8 :\ 10mm is 3/8

CornerJack

Yes, the origin size of the waterblock fittings is 10 mm (=3/8)
Picture with adaptaters 8/12 (=1/2) and 8/14 :D

By the time most people hang everything on this board they are going to hang and stuff it into there lousy air flow case and perform their usual bad wire management, you won't even really see the board anymore so it's looks won't be noticed. Just the mess around it. Another words the board looks fine to me. I prefer to see it in action and let that determine whether it sucks or not.

Yup, is 3/8". 8/10 fittings have 8 milimeters of inner diameter and 10 of outer diameter.

For conversion:

Yes, the origin size of the waterblock fittings is 10 mm (=3/8)

You're not obligated to watercool it, it's an optional WC, it can run passively ;)

So is the Channel A and Channel B voltage reference options to account for how on the P5K deluxe the black ones are more stable than the yellow ones? In that they run tighter timings on the ram and can clock higher?

Yes, but not much faster than 16x4 with the 2900's at this time, drivers are still immature for CrossFire/P35.

Is that the same as the CGI option on P5K?

No, CGI just optimises the DMI bus for handling lots of highspeed peer-peer writes between the PCI-E 16x and 4x slots. The Blitz literally splits the 16x slot into two 8x slots which has two advantages - more bandwidth for the second card, peer-peer writes can (presumably) happen directly in the crosslinx IC.

There shouldn't be much of a boost in most games, however the ones that gain no performance boost in 16/4 should get one now (a big one). Try COD2, that only likes 8/8 and above.

:-/

Immature or not, they score big on 975X. There is obviously a problem with CrossLinx. It doesn't look like P35 will ever be the choice for multiple cards.
