Driver Info please,

Hi all,
Can somone tell me what version of CAT drivers these are please and where I can get them ?? :-

6.14.01.6307

I see OPP and others using them for 2001, but Im relatively new to ATI so am unsure what version of the Cats these are. I have looked at the ones on GURU3D but they dont seem to be the same version.

I believe thats the modded cat 3.1 that comes with the R9800 pro. you can't use the 3.1 from the website cause it doesn't recognize the R9800.

I have removed the 9x drivers to save on size. I assume u are using XP.

I think they are right here (http://mirror.ati.com/support/products/radeonwin2kpreviousdrivers.html) on the ATI site. It says Cat 3.2 6.14.01.6307.

Ya you really want the 3.1's though if you can get em they work great for 3dmark01. They are the 6292 drivers

how big is a difference between modded 3.1, 3.2 and 3.4? I always benched with 3.4 + DX9...

I was using 3.2 and then tried 3.5 and got a small improvement with 3.5 :)

Im dloading these ones from your webspace Brett and will try them tomorrow.

I got the files and installed them and then installed the 3.1 control panel I had and then rebooted.

Upon rebooting to windows the pc was slow and laggy so I am know going to just use 3.2 like usual till someone can let me know :)
