Zirconia is the name of Mike's One man team. Not a forum but his home town's name.

Hi guys, and you too young lady:),
THANKS for the encouragement.
I have 61 cores on now and did 145k yesterday. I have 7 more in reserve and 4 more X2's ready to install this week end.:D
I don't think it will be easy, but it will be fun and generate some more interest:).

I think Mike can handle this himself :D
Also i don't think it's a good move to add new members to team Zirconia now. (don't know if that's even allowed - it's a closed competition, no?)
[XC] Adywebb

Its a closed competition in as much as no other teams can join in - but anyone can join one of the 2 teams involved at any time, and getting new members to WCG as result is one of the reasons for doing these kind of things - everyone benefits.
However, I would imagine Mike wouldn't want folks already crunching at WCG joining Zirconia and making the competition unfair, better to keep it reasonably close and interesting I would imagine.

Work done for WCG and to raise some interest and maybe generate new crunchers are my keys:) Win, Lose or Draw for me is not important.....WCG being the winner is.
I think, once everything has settled, it will be a fairly even test.
THANKS everyone for the offers of help, I had a couple of volunteers join the team and I think that it is enough.

I'm a traveler, Gypsy...if you like. I have had my own team; ZIRCONIA for some time and crunch boxes on several projects for it.
I generally move about helping other "smaller" teams to try and generate more DC interest. The bulk of my WCG points are here at XS.
So, it's not like I left......just on holiday:D
