Metamorphosis: A dual worklog

Due to the amount of pictures needed Ive decided to focus this thread solely on my present case (Nightmare³) and start a new thread on my new (Nightmare Jr.) project. Its just too much trouble to try and do both in the same thread, and it would soon turn into a unrecognizable mess. Ill do my best to fix this thread up and post more commentary.

On a side note, this case is already done and has been running for almost 2 years. I like it so much, I figured I would memorialize it before I take a sledgehammer to it as I will be moving to the Canary Islands and this beast is just too much of a monstrosity to warrant taking along.

Yea it really is quiet, the only thing you can hear is airflow from the fans, and that is almost nothing.

Thanks, it weighs in at about 198lbs maybe a little more, hard to get an accurate weight on it without the right equipment.

Here are some pics of the plating I did on the inside of the case. I orignally used Steel but was having problems with Flash rust so I switched to aluminum. Pulling off steel after it has been cemented on is not fun...lol
