Its all in the title. Is it possible to run SLI with 2x8800's on a Intel Bad Axe 2?

Would have to definitely say no to this, Wes. 975X supports only Crossfire, but Big Sam had drivers that would work on the 975X for 6 and 7 series.

Nobody has, released, any drivers to run the 8 series cards in SLI on Non Nvidia Chipsets. ;) :)
And with nVidia now using 128 bit encryption in that part of the driver it's unlikely anyone will.
Will 1 G8 series card work?

none above 7xxx series nvidia cards. Trust me, i know. Look in my sig, lol. I've got plenty of research on this.

I think he was asking if a single G80 card would work in a Bad Axe mobo. If that was the question, then yes it will. Single nVidia cards always work on Intel chipsets. :)

I hope Big Sam or someone else takes a crack at making us a hacked driver. It sucks sitting with 2 x Geforce 8800GTS and I can't do anything about it. Bought the system 2 weeks ago, so not too keen on buying another motherboard.

Any single card can work on any chipset. Nothing that any manufacturer can do about that. Multi-card is something that they can do something about though...

And the xbx2 has 1 x16 , 1 x8 , 1 x4
