Logitech G5 Tracking Question

Just got my G5 and mostly it's great, however, it seems that if I let the PC run for any length of time over 12hrs, (any PC the G5 is plugged into), the tracking get wierd and I need to unplug the mouse for at least 15 min b4 it tracks nice again.. is this common? should I take advantage of the RMA? I have till the 22nd of this month to send it back, if so should I bother getting another one or get something else entirely..

that's odd. are you using the logitech driver?

I wasnt at first, but have updated to firmware 1.2 and finally the drivers to try a fix to no avail, I would almost think the thing is overheating except I can fps for hours with no issues and then bam... ya know?

Also tried different surfaces, currently using a SP 5L

Try a differnt mousepad maybe ?

na thats not normal. never happened with my G5 - & i have same pad as u! i would give rma a go...
