you can cut holes and gaps in the same places as the P182 then use tape or split rubber tubing to line the sharp edges

Could you show me in a picture where the holes in the P182 are?
Are you talking about the holes for the water cooling at the back of the case?

why not drill some holes to the motherboard tray and guide those wires from there, neat and simple.

Rout wires on the side of the motherboard, using those sticky-clip things that Antec gives you. They help ALLOT. Any place you can see where the wires can run behind the mobo tray, or drive cages, use them.
