I am trying to purchase a couple packs of hyperglide for a razer deathadder but the only brazilian retailer has nothing in stock..

frozen cpu won't deliver to brazil without using some expensive fowarding service so thats not an option...

so I was wondering if anyone have tried to order directly from http://www.hyperglide.net/

it says that they ship anywhere in the world for just one dollar? anybody else tried this???

thanks :)

Unless your DA is worn out, I wouldn't bother. The thing already skates around like a champ and is one of the slickest mice I've used.

I've had them ship me G5 skates to the US, came in a somewhat timely manner but I was very happy with them!

Something just came to my attention. I had a look under my DA and it seems the pads may not be thick enough...the bottom of the mouse is scraping my eXactMat...

ouch.. that can't be good.. hope no harm was done to your exactmat

are the original pads wearing out or was it just something you didn't notice?

I was trying to find a post I saw a few days ago from a DA owner that replaced the original pads with hyperglides and his mouse started to "tilt" or tip over

maybe you have also seen it before.. I searched and searched but can't find it again... gonna try to search a bit more..

but thanks for the heads up :toast:

sorry my bad... the post was from a different forum...this is what I was refering to: http://esreality.hexus.net/?a=post&id=1395701

and as far as the scratching goes, you are not alone according to this:
http://razerblueprints.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=99&topic=6107.msg54799

...The result is that the DeathAdders front bottom part is slightly curved downwards. This makes the DeathAdder scrape on the surface, creating friction and wearing on the mouse shell...

which brings us to the question...anyone else experience this "rocking" problem on the DA+hyperglide??

I have noticed the curve. The scratched area is right above the hole for the sensor, which is the lowest point on the mouse. I am not sure why Razer designed it this way.

There is no physical evidence of contact on the eXactMat at all though, looks like new still. I am thinking some slightly thicker pads would solve this problem but I know for a fact that the mouse is programmed to have a certain lift-off distance and I wouldn't want to throw off its sensor by having it too high.

Has anyone tried these with the DA yet? I might order some.

Or how about Everglide? I can get those on the same order as my Steelpad 5L. To get the Hyperglides, I'd have to make a seperate order at FrozenCPU and pay more shipping.

Everglide suck, at least with my Razer, the skates weren't made to exact spec of the imprints on the bottom of the mouse so dust and all that gets stuck in between the gaps. The hyperglide with my G5 are still going strong
