I was benching to try to break m wcore and i've fallen from 15.5k to 13k
I don't know what i did wrong, i checked rivatuner and it was fine. In nature i have nearly a 20fps drop
Do you know what i could do to regain those points?
I'll try to reinstall the drivers but i don't know if that will help

Hi Antipop,

I guess you could try and work out whether it was the cpu by running pifast, superpi or cpumark99 and comparing to what you had before.

Then I'd guess you need to check the graphics drivers so install 42.51 or whatever you prefer and do a bench at slightly lower than you normally run to see if that is still low.

Check task manager see if something is stealing cycles ?

IS the card doing freeze and release ?

Regards

Andy

no, did you install the nforce2 driver pack again? thats what i did, and it installed some 40.72 dets or somthn like that... made my score drop 1000points.

i wonder why they bundle the nf2 drivers with such crappy dets... maybe they are good for 5200/5600/5800 cards...

Ive had this problem myself.

I just lost 2000 points in 2001 one night.

The only way to get them back was to reinstall the Os on another drive.
