I have purchased just a couple weeks ago a Rosewill R604-P SL, I am using this case in a budget build that will soon become my moms computer. A very good case for the money from what I've seen so far.

One thing that I will say as many others have said in newegg reviews; These cases come with screwless plastic parts for drive installation which are absolutely junk. You will definetely want to remove these before installing any drives and use standard screws. Another thing you will want to be aware of is that this case comes with a piece on this inside of the left side panel that you are supposed to be able to pull down directly your HSF on CPU and pull in cold clean air ( it has a filter ). This is also junk and should be removed, or just not used. May work out better for someone else but it did not even line up right with mine.

I do like the two top front 5.25 bay drive bezels that are included though, as these are the type that your cd/dvd rom just mounts behind and flip down to let your drive open when you press the button. This is the main reason I am going to remove the screwless mounting hardware, as there is no adjustment and the fit is too tight with the screwless mount so the button is depressed by the force.

I have already mounting my motherboard, which was easy and straight forward enough, but I will be taking some pictures of all of this in the next couple days. I am waiting for my graphics card for this build to come in the mail. Specs on final build will be as follows.

AMD Athlon x2 3600+ Brisbane
Biostar TForce 550 SE
2x1GB Crucial Ballistix 800
x800 gto2 modded to x850xt pe
200GB Maxter Diamondmax 10 hdd w/ 16MB Cache
Pioneer DVD-RW 8x
Modded Antec NeoPower 480 Watt PSU

Here is a pic with the mobo and psu installed and beginning to install the fan.

Well all the holes are there for mounting of a 120mm fan but it seems that the
bracket for the slideout hdd mount is right in the way of screwing it in. Prolly
gonna have to drill through that to mount it....

Here is a better pic of this problem.

Their so called filter looks like its gonna be junk for using a 120mm fan, its not
even gonna cover all the surface area of the fan to filter the incoming air. Now it
will probably pull in dirty air from the surrounding area of the faceplate. Good thing
my Thermaltake fans come with nice filters. Hopefully I can use those to replace
this junky setup.

It seems like this going to take some modifications to get everything the way I want it setup but. Please feel free to make suggestions on anything as I continue to put this case to use. I want everyone to see the possibilities of what may need to be done to make this a good case. Hopefully its not too much but how much can you really complain for the pricepoint of this thing?

If that is the fan I think it is, then you might want to look into a fan controller, or a different fan. If noise isn't an issue then keep it, but being in the front of the case it rattles quite a bit, or if you have it secured well enough the sound of air going through it is still quite loud.

Yup it definetely is the fan your thinking of. It is very loud on full boar. That actually is a pretty easy fix though, it comes with a temp probe for ai fan control. Just tape that right to the metal on your case somewhere near the fan that is not visible and it will stay on low all the time as the metal is cold:D

The real issue that I'm having right now is that the filter in the front is not wide enough to cover the whole fan. I have the filter that came with my thermaltake fans ( I have two ) but it is too wide to fit between the metal case skeleton thing and the front panel. It mounts up pretty much flush so there is no room to put it in there. I would really like to just remove but even that will not be enough cuz there is a connector for the front usb and headphone jacks right there.

Camera batteries are dead, pics coming tomarrow.

Suggestions?

I think this may very well be the answer to this problem. I am gonna order one of these tomarrow and move on to some other things for the moment. I think tonight I will be seriously looking at some cable management

Okay back at it here, I got my lil filter which mounted in quite easy after drilling the holes to put my fan in.

here are the holes I had to drill to put the fan in. The hard drive cage mounting junk was in the way.

Now looking at some cable management, which I am very terrible at. I would like to do something with the wires that connect to the front usb ports and the powerswitch and hdd leds etc.
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb163/FriedChips/Moms%20PC%20Build/BuildLog009.jpg
Not quite sure how to go about this and really hoping for some suggestions. I would really like to shorten them and route them behind the mobo to keep the airflow as open as possible, but I don't want to shorten them to the point that I can't easily pull the front panel off.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

***EDIT***
Also notice I have removed the screwless mounting junk for the 5.25 and 3.5 bays.

just pull the cables back so that all the excess is behind the hdd cage and such, and ziptie them up...

looking at the bottom photo i would remove th wires from the samll hole they are in ATM and routethem thru the larger circular 1 pictured in the bottom right that way any excess can be stored behind the Mobo
