It's best to place each pic in it's own tab. Then tab between them

Weird, to me 1680 looks better than 1920.

I've also added HL2 because Graw2 doesn't appear to use any AA. Therefore, I use Hl2 were I can actually disable AA to see the difference.
with 0xaa and 2xaa

In my experience, it depends. Given the same monitor, most of the time higher resolution means more pixels, more detail and less aliasing.

I would agree. I tend to need lower AA levels at higher resolutions.

wow that's interesting, from looking at the pics i would have to say that you are completely correct.

it really depends on monitor tho...if running non-native on LCD, no level of AA wil be enough. Also, dot pitch of the monitor will affect how effective AA is...takes less AA on 20 inch wide monitor to acheive same result on 22 inch monitor, IMHO(more pixels/inch on smaller monitor).


That being said, this is all subjective on how "sensitive" someone is to "Jaggies".

Personally Im happy with just 2x AA at 16x10. Interesting screen comparison tho.
