I'd worry more about proper grounding of the drive

It's grounded through the power plug. I have several Antec cases that have rubber mountings for the Hdd's in the cages. They come that way.

That's funny!
Well, if the poly-fabric sleeve is strong, it should be safe to move your case.

mike047 are your cases that use that suspension method safe to move?

if I remember they have a grounding wire but then again so do Zalman HDD Converters

Take note, don't use rubberbands, they don't work so well.

Do you mean not do the whole suspension thing altogether? I wouldn't be using rubber bands i would be use the same cord as in the link

Suspension thing should be fine with quality cords. I was just being lazy to not get the cord. One time I heard the rubberbands snap, was mighty funny, but I did this on a rig I didn't care about. I would never do it to a Raptor.

The Antec case has no additional wire for grounding, just the one through the power cable. The Hdd does not require anymore grounding than that for function or safety.
This type of mounting, would not make it any safer to move. It is supposed to eliminate vibration in the case[I guess:)].

To do it yourself you could just go to the hardware store and get some longer screws along with some nylon spacers. Wouldn't necessarily look stunning but it would probably only cust a few $, relatively cheap :)
