Lian Li thread specs

On my Lian Li case, the thumbscews are supposedly an M3 thread, but my M3 die has a 0.5 thread pitch and it just wont go over these thumbscrews without stripping the threads off. None of my other dies work on these either.

Does anyone know the exact thread specs for these Lian Li screws?

I want to tap some holes to use with these thumbscrews but I need to know what tap I need first.

Update: My M3 x0.5 die does work... I was just stripping off the finish not the threads. So they are a standard M3 thread.
