If it passes succesfully try to increments until you reach the max.

My card is the MSI GF4 4400 with 3.6ns memory on it. At present it is doing 317/648 stable but in cold weather it will do up to 329/650 with globalwin CAK on it.
You should be able to hit 16-17k with that setup.

Andy

Andy He will hit 16k only with some good overcloking, I have a ti4400 and i'm having a hard time breaking 16k.
Oups didn't see that he was on intel!

15,593 is what i got on 265FSB, 5:4 with the card clocked at 306/648.
i dont think its got much more to give without some serious cooling

Are you thinking of going Intel yourself Antipop ?
16k was top dollar before Intel 800FSB came along, still a really good score, look at all those 9700 Pro's below you :D

Congrats :)
That's a good idea, those stock Intel hsf's are pretty impressive compared to AMD's, I suppose at the price they can afford to be.

No i don't think so, at least not at the moment. I've been out of Intel for too long and i don't have the cash to get an intel sys.
I had an amd when it was the best available, sicnce then i've been upgrading my comp little by little. I can't afford buying a whole new comp (the intel cpu and mobo are expensive)

Well my prior experience with an MSI Geforce 4400 was quite good. They seem to run pretty high with the core (or so I have seen). Mine would run 321/635 before running into trouble (on the memory side of things). I tried ram sinks (cannabalized a stock amd heatsink) and lapping/applying as3 to the core. The next logical step if you want to push the card faster is better cooling. Personally, I tried the mem mod and ended up frying my board; there is conflicting information out there about which voltage controller handles what. Let me tell you that it is NOT and I repeat NOT the same as the 4600. Use vr-zone's guide (i believe they have one) if you want to do a volt mod. Something interesting though that i have seen is that my replacement 4800se (which is the Geforce 4400 with 8x agp) has remarkably better mem (685 before it starts to crap out) but a much worse core (310 is really pushing it for the card).

The easiest way is to epoxy it on with artic alumina or similar, making sure the heatsink does not overlap the AGP connectors so it fits in the socket still !

Andy You can also put regular as3 but add a drop of super glue in the corner of the chip

Thanks M8! :D
But I must say that it whas really easy to klock the core with a volt-mod... even though I am only using aircooling.. (I might add that it's about 3*C cold air) But my memories won't go eny where even with the volt-modd on...
