Well i have been tryed to oc my pc some time cpu wise and i allways have belived my ram cannot handle better than 410mhz ddr speeds, but well i tweaked some bios settings today and i was quite shocked when i started to try max what memory gives out, well its running now 470 ddr speed, 2.8vdimm and 2.5 3 3 8 timings, and its running stable without memory errors.
Anyone else have been seen this hight results with Kingston KVR400X64C3A/512 memory?
Btw same results come with reduced vdimm to 2.7volts.
Screenshot below!
Oh and btw, those temps are in 100% load :)

Well, keep going, 500MHz is right on your way!
BTW, these chips can be Winbond BH-5, CH-5, Micron 46V32M8 -5B C, Hynix D43, D5, Samsung TCCC, TCC4... and maybe they're relabeled.
To take it out of question, try to run 3-4-4-8-2T.... if it gets unstable, for sure it is not Winbond... another way to do this would be trying those timings at high (250MHz+) at 2.6~2.7v.. winbond wouldn't run that loosen at all, and that is way to much speed for that low volts on them...
On the other hand, if it run nicelly at those timings (execpt for 1T Command Rate), at let's say 2.8~2.0v, they behave a lot more like Hynyx chips....
If you are runing @ 3-3-3-7, and loosening to 3-4-4-8 doesn't improve oc'ability or stability, I would say they're Micron....
And so on... each chip has its pecularities..... but most problably you already know that!

Well actually i dont know how far this Kingston goes since other stick is TwinMos with M-Tec 0331D TTD7608F8E50B chips, i will take this great oc twinmos away and check the max of kingston.
I dont know how my cpu handles that 250FSB since it feals quite unstable/self-bootting in that setting with ram sametime at low settings (about DDR440), might be my mobo too since its K8N SLI-FI and its poo for overclocking as far as post'ing goes, (wont post anything over 230Mhz).
I also bought Samsung single sided stick from local store since i cannot run twinmos and kingston in dual-channel mode because twinmos is double sided and kingston is single sided, but this Samsung dont want go over DDR440 at all, so it will shurely have some bad chips on it, so ill try kingston in solo and see what happens :)
EDIT 1 : Ok currently 245Mhz (490DDR) so far with 2.7v 2.5-3-3-8, when memtest done i try to push it to max what my motherboard gives (250Mhz, 500DDR)

I'm sure your modules can do much more. I have the same memory, and it runs now at 510Mhz (255) with 3-3-4-7 1T at 2.85v. It can do even 530 at 3-4-4-8 1T but unfortunately, my cpu (P4 2.4C) doesn't allow me more. Also, memory works at that speed even with 2.55v, but I don't know if it's 100% stable because i haven't time to test it.

Ok the 245Mhz (DDR490) is perfectly stable but when i hit 246Mhz (DDR492) pc reboots self instantly, i think this is motherboard problem since i cannot repeat results with CPU at x9.5 but i can in cpu x9.0 and cpu isnt problem as it will run at 2.5Ghz easely in my other pc witch have K8N Neo motherboard.
And i have runned all the time that memory as 2.5-3-3-2T so i think its not that bad after all, i guess with better mobo it goes easy over 500 magical mark, my MSI K8N SLI-FI just sucks at hight memory, memory bus or cpu clocks, everything above 246 in memory bus = instant crash and with 256 it stays up 10secounds before it boots automatically and in 245 there is no problem.
Btw in surface of my memory chips reads next : Kingston S62565 0648 D648DLKBTL5, so i guess thats what those chips are im not shure are they Winbond but i hope so, also hynix would be another good too but we will see it later :)
And, anyone have good succestions about good and fairly cheap SLI overcloking motherboard?
So here is results that i can best get out of my memory...

Poor mobo, great kingston ddr :)
EDIT : Hmm it will run 2-3-3-6-T2 at DDR440, dont want stress more from today so ill try more tommorrow :)
