ok, i am bored at work this year and after a few problems with my main rig, i decided i need to do some up dates.

i know everyone here has good ideas, or they wouldn't have logged on.

i got a wish list from newegg, just so you can see what i was looking at.

if you have any ideas i would love to hear them, but i am looking for something much smaller then my stacker, i case is on a zipzoomfly, cause newegg doesnt have the case i like. let the discussion being!

If you are upgrading to a 7900gtx for $500, just grab a 8800gtx for a few extra bucks.

forget about the 7900gtx, that's yesterday's king. 8800gtx is for today.
instead of the muskin ram, get two sets of 2x 1gb ballistix or g. skills with D9's.

edit: i'd highly recommend you to get a bigger PSU that the 500watt, maybe a corsair 620w, or a OCZ 700w

i am not getting a new video card, i have the 7900gtx already and plan to keep using it until i upgrade to vista, when i will push for the 8800gtx of the day

i might have to get a bigger psu, but i was hoping to use 2gb dims so i could up it to 8gbs when i go to vista too

Got the word that some of my stuff arived today, still at work, will get some work on it this weekend

ok, got most of my parts, right now i am playing with a e4300 cpu in the p5k-vm, still didnt get the new ram, but got everything else, checking out how the e4300 clocks right now, its on 1.35v, 3Ghz, on stock cooler :D
