Cruncher reporting to base!

So, finally I've decided to join teh 1337 forces of crunchers on XS (under the name of goedewiet on wcg)

For one year now I had to listen to all the crunchy stories about XS and it's crunching community (from v0dka). First I had some reasons to NOT participate (bad aircooling and bad TSC experiences) but now I've seen the new WCG client, I'm totally hooked! And furthermore, the whole WCG project fits well with my current education (biomedical engineering) :)

Since I had some power-bills-problems with my girlfriend in the past, I'm not going to run all my available machines 24/7, but I'll make sure they will make good effort!

My running and upcoming rigs:

24/7:
- s754 Clawhammer 3700+ with 2x512MB CL2
- T2400 @ 1.83 with 1.5GB CL5

As much as possible:
- E4400 @ 3.2 with 4x1GB CL5
- E4300 @ 2.7 with 2x1GB CL5
- Turion ML32 @ 2.0 with 2x512 MB CL2.5

And I also got some scrap stuff (barton 2600+) laying around, all the little bits help right?

And much more possible systems (just have to convince some people for the better cause :)

ps: wcg offline is not a good start for my motivation :(

Don't worry too much about your power bills , we're all in the same boat here.
(But I wouldn't run WCG on that Barton machine if you really want to save some euro's :D )

ERROR work units are solved, 3.2 GHz @ stock volts doesn't seem to be stable enough for WCG.. I hope to get my first 100K in a few weeks!

I was a cruncher with a mission. But not anymore. My mission has ended, because today I've roadkilled VODKA (the one and only reason that I was crunching :) ). Because of VODKA annoying BOINC talk, I decided to start crunching. I persuaded many cores, many friends and even bougt quad cores to make it happen. For a moment I felt totally Xtreme :D

It wasn't easy, because every month, VODKA's output seemed to increase. I HAD TO FIGHT BACK.

But now, today, I've roadkilled VODKA, so there's no crunching need anymore. Therefore I've resigned from the Xtreme Crunching team.....

(at this point movieman will go totally mad, destroying every PC that has ever been in contact with my IP ;) )

But it's only the battle that's over, so I will join my cruching powers with VODKA, and together we will conquer the stat lists :)
