Nice pot!

Is it me or does that machining sound a tad expensive  ? That motherboard is approx ~ £140 here!

£140.? Sounds like 4hrs work plus the vat, would be hard pushed to do that in four hours :D

Nice pot though

Thanks guys.... Yeah I cant wait to see what it can do, but monday is a holiday so I have to wait till tuesday....

@Misko, yeah finally lol... there was too many obstacles in the way and at times I didnt think it was ever gonna be done.... thanks again :)

@ Brettbeck, Machinning here is so expensive and actually it was hard to find somebody that will do it cos alot of them dont wanna deal with copper..... I think it worked out for me cos the motherboard is used and it was for sale at the time....

i noticed in your first post you quoted in CND dollars...does that mean your from Canada? if so, what side of the country are you if you don't mind me asking. i too am having a punch of a time trying to find anyone that will work with copper...aluminum yes, but i already have an aluminum pot ;)

Im from the westcoast, in Vancouver..... yeah the economy is good so I guess machine shops can pick and choose jobs they wanna work on... The shop that did mine was in abbotsford which is probably 100km away.....

Im going to use ln2 on this pot right away, I have a dryice pot that's almost done too and one day Ill test both for dry ice.... If this works well on dry ice then Ill sell the other one and just use this for both....

IF youre making it from scratch, buying one from Kingpin will end up being cheaper I think, but I just like to make my own stuff..... The way I look at it, this pot is free because the money I spent on it is for the fun I had making it:D i hope that made sense.... Thats my 4th pot now lol....

I agree, nothing better than building/designing it yourself. Unfotunately I can't find a machine shop around here to do the work for my own designs. I had to settle for buying a copper rev. 2 mousepot:( :D Atleast the mousepot was cheap, only $180:D
