hi

well, i would like to know if is guaranteed to overclock 4x1gb 6400c3 dominator @ 1200 5-5-5 with acceptable 24/7 volts

or could you recommend me some another good mem to do this job?

sorry bad english

thanks :)

if it was a sure thing, it would be rated for that speed

but since no motherboard officially supports ddr2-1200, it is impossible to promise that a certain kit and motherboard combo will be able to do it ;)

why 4x1gb? unless you have a relatively good board, chances are you'll run into some issues with the memory controller before 600mhz

edit: now that i say that, what WILL you be using this with?

any decent micron based 1gb sticks will be able to do 600mhz without too much effort. it's the board i'm worried about

See my sig. Rig does 5-5-5-15 @ 2.3v if you're comfortable with that.

striker or dfi 680i lt/ q6600 etc

i have no much time at the moment to find all about mem overclocking on this mbs, but i assume they are the best with x16 sli support

Truckchase!, yes this crucial 8500 seems to be one of the best micron choices and price is good

I don't think you will be able to reach DDR2-1200 with 4 gig of RAM at a moderate voltage, especially the Northbridge will need a very high voltage.

I'm running 4GB on a Striker Extreme and just for reaching DDR2-750 I needed 1.35v on the Northbridge, but I don't want to go much higher at the moment because I'm still using stock cooling.

So if you really want to achieve 600MHz, you will need very good cooling for the chipset.
