Those are pretty surpising... Never would have thought that crucial would have performed so well. I dont think that i would take that review real close to heart though. People have had much better results with the twinmos, than what they show.

I've always had excellent experiences with Crucial memory. My ecc reg pc2100 for my dual will run as high as 175fsb no problems.

Well, my mushkin didn't overclock real well so I can agree with them there. But, it seemed to stick with higher clocked sticks, so maybe a better design?

Finally, a good review with Crucial PC3200 in it! About time. Now if he had only done one more thing...gone for a max oc with relaxed timings...the review would have been complete!

And they're now for 48$ the 256Mb stick, it's a steal. Maybe i'll sell my twinmos and get some of those

I'd rather see a real overclocker with this ram, then rely on a review. the only time I really know how well something handles is when it's in the hands of a overclocker I am aware would really push it.
give this ram to mickey mouse and let him go for 240 again on 3dmark2001se, or give it macci...

As anyone tried it? I'm thinking selling my twinmos and get this ram instead? What do you think about that?

Hmmmm... I thought the most surprising part was how different RAM at the same speed differed so much.. Kingmax had a 600 point lead in 3dmark 2k1 over some others, and a 400 point lead in 2k3?! I always thought they should be pretty much identical.
hmm the end of that review is kind of confusing, they are comparing 2 x 512mb of Buffalo to 2 x 256 of the rest, it's not really fair for Buffalo IMHO. Also, the graph shows Crucial being the cheapest, yet they go on to say that
Kingmax are the cheapest module available, is very quick and look very nice... and being slightly cheaper then Crucial, it will be the perfect module for anyone interested in buying bulk.

no hyper x 3500? no ocz 3700? why?
and the twinmos performed bad because they used the 3700 wich uses the crappy twinmos memory chips instead of winbond stuff.
209fsb with cl2 is pretty good for 3700 thats about what i get with my stick of twinmos 3700 with 2.9v in single channel! not sure if its the nb though, no vdd mod so far.

I agree. Not so much about putting it in the hands of a real OC'er, but just more along the lines of what others say. Although I will check certain places for reviews, I normally rely on forum junkies to tell me what is the best stuff. Nothing is better than what different people say as opposed to just one person. :)

Well I'm running some OCZ 3700 Gold right now at 256 solid with 2-3-3-7 timings useing the 1:1 ratio.
I think I'll go to Fry's right now and see If they have this Crucial 3200, I wonder if the computor will boot if I just replace the memory:D

Thats on the P4C, I will be getting a IC7 Friday I think and I'll be playing with that for a while.
Fry's didn't have Crucial so I picked up some of Macci's wonder 3000, Kingston HyperX, the system didn't boot:D
I wonder how much voltage Macci uses to run this stuff.

Like I said in a previous post, you need to write a short One page "review" of all the CW and SD boards you've tried, just your opinions really as to your likes and dislikes. I think it would be a very respected write up of your observations.

I'm thinking it was on a P4P, but I could be wrong. For some reason I'm tihnking I saw him posting about an albatron board at some point also.

Sorry to hear that, OPP.
Found another macci post confirming at least 262 on his P4P, so the 270 was probably the P4P also.

I thought you had a P4P at one point? Did ya get rid of it?
