Windows SMP console client expires July 1.

Download here (http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html)

For Win_SMP_client update:
Xilikon discovered (http://forum.folding-community.org/ftopic20376.html)... only fah.exe and UILANG1.UDB files has changed.
To just update... install(=unpack) somewhere else than current install folder, and overwrite the two files with new ones.
Of course f@h should be stopped before that

Fold on...

I'm having problems with the SMP client.

Its either stuck on "working" or "cannot start"

I return to using the classic consoles.

Out of curiosity, did you try and run it in service mode? Because that is what happens when it is put in service mode since it doesn't support it yet.

Well my 64bit Linux SMP were still folding last night so I left them to it - will the clients just refuse to pick up a new unit? or will it only flag up a problem when I restart the client? I've spent a fair amount of time making sure I don't have to restart or play with anything tbh :)

seems to be a @restart-only issue

Yeah I had to pull the plug on a network cable of a linux box uploading a unit today (was lagging my game badly - usually dont mind but we were killing a boss :p: ) the box was logged out & client stopped, when I restarted it complained it was out of date. Dropping in the 'mpiexec' & 'fah5' files from the new client worked fine & sent the existing unit without a problem :D
