Hi there guys,

Got myself an AXP2100+ last week, which looks like it could be a great ocer. I am running an NF7s 1.2 with pencil mod and 2 x 256 twinmoss Ch-5, all which is good for 219 ( so far!). I am using an AXP 1700+ happily @ 10x219.

When I attempt to use low multiplyers on the 2100+ and high fsb it refuses to go anywhere near windows ( get internal power errors BSOD). However when left on 13x166 and just 1.65vcore (1.7 in bios) it boots up fine and is rock solid. Any other combinations seem to have problems.

Any ideas as this chip looks to have somew potential. From memory I think its a 0301 ahuib.

Thanks

I don't know it definetly, but the ABIT NF2 REv1.2 allows you only Multi From 13-24 if you use an 2100+(or higher t-Bred/Barton), If you use an 1700+(or an Cpu till 2000+ T-Bred) you can choose your multi from 5-12.5. The Abit NF2Rev2.0 is Mutli Free, so you can choose a Mutli...from 5-24

The thing is the system would boot at 10x166, 10.5x166 and even 11x180, but I really wanted to go alot higher...ie 10x220 etc. I thought that the nf7s V.x unlocked all multipylers. I wondered if it needed a bridge cutting or such like.

I am running Bios 1.9 if thats any help.

So all versions of the NF7s unlock all multis then.

What exactly does APIC do then ?
What could I expect out of this cpu with what I have achieved so far ? I mean 2166@ 1.65 vcore is pretty good for an old CPU, is 2400 out of the question do ya think ?
