View Full Version : At 540 MHZ, what timings should I expect?

Right now I am running at 5-4-4-12 @ 2.15v - they are D9GMH chips - Gskill HZ.
I can't seem to get it to 4-4-4-12 as when I try, I don't boot.
Also, I have to run at 2T - ram doesn't like it at 1T. Running in the yellow slots of P5KDLX.
Any suggestions besides pumping more volts into it? I don't want to do that - already out of spec with no active cooling.

I think you're doing very good so far and so is your CPU OC :)

I dont think you`ll get much more without voltage- my DMH needed 2.25-2.30V for 535-540MHz 4-4-3 on a P5B, and i`ll assume RAM performance is reasonably similar between that and the P5K.

I see. Hmm, was not looking to add more voltage. I'll see if I can take 12>10 or perhaps 8.
I know absolutely nothing about subtimings, though, so I may start playing with them.
XtremeTiramisu: Impressive OC and ram timings!
If that 12->10 or 8 is in reference to tRAS, it might well go to 4 without much trouble :)
