windows activation xp

My computer just told me i had to re-activate my computer because of a significant hardware change. I havent changed myhardware for at least 6 months. Now i try to activate it tells me that i cant activate this lisence anymore. Coincidence? i think not. Can anyone give me any advice? Short of buying a new lisence for an old OS?

Call the toll free number and they will give you a new activation code. You'll just have to say that it is installed on the same computer. I've done this many times, you should have no trouble.

Call Microsoft and go through the prompts to re-activate windows.

Yep that done it. Thought they'd try to sting me for another license. Cheers guys
