What is the proper way to shutdown an SMP client in the middle of working?

ctrl+c...
...after that if you're going reboot windows... should check from Task Manager everything f@h related has killed themselves... Cores&smpd&mpiexec. Could take several minutes sometimes.
Yes it still nags to me too every time restarting f@h about previous termination of core was improper ;)
Maybe it's preferable run only with -oneunit -flag and not to shutdown until finalization of wu.

What I would do is put in the -forceasm flag. That way it doesn't bug you about "improper termination" and just continues normally when you start it back up :)

...it would mean I should shutdown the client  :shakes:
EDIT: just learned that -forceasm is hardcoded in smp client ;)
