Memory query

Hi

ive installed some firestix memory pc rated DDR2 800 PC2-6400 SDRAM but when i run CPU-Z it says Max bandwidth pc2 - 5300 (333MHz) on both modules i have 2GB.

I have a Asus p5w motherboard.

That's normal.
You should be looking at the memory frequency field ( @ the memory tab ) to verify that your rams are running where they should be ( @ 400MHz a.k.a. DDR2-800 )

oh right i see , i dont know how to enter the timings in the bios can someone please tell me.

You need to go to Chipset configuration sub-menu found in the Advanced menu, and set the 'Configure DRAM timings by SPD' options' value to 'disabled'.
Then the 6 main timings will appear.
