just got my memory today and was playing around.
now @ 1:1 ratio i can get to 199fsb
at 200fsb 1:1 it craps out in windows (something about physical dump etc)
( i havent done the vdd mod yet, but will be done soon)
now i was messing about and tried 200fsb with 83% so the resultant gives 166.
now @ these settings im able to run 217fb (434mhz)
@ 3,2,2,2.0 it shows as 434mhz in sandra 2003
anything lower windows craps out,
@ 3,2,2,2.0 3d mark clears, im currently in 20 mins in prime 95
no errors. (seems very stable at the moment)

im currently running a xp2400 with a abit 8rda+
(new 1700 coming in monday hopefully)

any thoughts?

My thought is as follows:

Why run the memory at 2.0-2-2-3, when 2.0-2-2-7 is faster???:toast:

Yes, 2.0-2-2-3 is tighter, but on nforce2 boards 2.0-2-2-7 is simply faster, due to some strange reason. Test it! You'll see what I'm talking about.;)

i believe JCViggen did a bunch of testing on this and found that 2-2-2-7 was fastest on Nforce2 boards.

which chips does your PC3200 have? i've got CH-5 and i haven't had much luck getting my tRCD at anything more agressive than 3.

i also have the winbond ones.
after doing some 3dmark testing, the 7,2,2,2.0 gives about 30marks more!

i think i will try this, in some swedish forums everyone says that 11 is better than 7 on nforce. Will try both and test performance :toast:

now that i can do 434 @ that 200 fsb / 83%
will i obtain 434mhz @ 1:1 after the vdd mod?

@ 434 200/83% i get 2800 in sandra
i was hoping to hit 3500 in sandra @ least.

Then you pic the fastest one (of course) :toast:

if you have an EpoS 8rda+, you may wanna try 10/2/2/2, or 11/2/2/2, these timings seem to be the fastest for me.
