Well my chip Im going to use it with is the Core2Duo e6300 which I already can overclock it on air to 3.15ghz (450fsb) and want to push it a little further after cooling the PLL on the evga680i A1 board I have. Vcore currently is at 1.39v

The chip has gotten as hot as 73/74C on a hot day here in california with crappy A/C. So heat is no issue especially since the MCW6500-T will be in its own dedicated CPU only Loop using Tygon 2275 1/2" ID ofcourse, 2 x MCP655-B pumps for performance and redundancy, and a PA 120.3 radiator with these extreme delta fans EFB1212SHE 120x38mm Triple Blade High Speed x 3 (141.96CFM).

The goal here is for benchmarking only to find the most stable overclock while also doing the same as above for the MCP and SPP on this evga board using DD680i block and the EK southbridge solution block. (i think its the NF4rev1.1.. dont remember) This is a shared chipset loop.

I need to know what the best PSU is to use other than the meanwell S320W ?

I think I gave a pretty good reply on TEC here

The rest of your system sounds like it will work very well with TEC, I especially like the three delta fans :D

It will be interesting to see how you get on with TEC, as your component choice is good so far.

If you're going to be running those fans at 12V you should get the HE120.3. Marci has repeatedly stated that the PA series does not see an improvement with fans >100CFM, whereas the HE series just begins to warm up at >80CFM :D

Either way its about the same...

serialk11r,

Im only going to use the TEC for benching and to see how far the chip I have can go and how much it can handle.

Once the TEC run is complete Im going to remove it and the PSU (Meanwell S320) and stick in the Stinger V8 all copper block that I have as the CPU water block.

The delta fans are also for the purpose of the benching, in fact the room this is all being conducted in is very crappy in terms of air flow, very restrictive as well, so these delta fans should really get the job done. I tried to find some less nosier fans with high CFM with such low amperage rating and could not find any. The Yates are just too low CFM to even prove useful in the room this test will be conducted in.

i thought they are discontinued and you can no longer buy them?

Did you read my above link?

IMO using a PC power supply is never "better" than a meanwell, even if its $10 or £20 cheaper
