Hi guys !
I got the chance to get a Vapochill PE for 200€ :D (unused and brandnew !)
But i had a Vapochill and a prometia earlier but sold both cause:
- too loud
- makes my room much warmer ( 5° or something)
- f**** heavy !
- needs load of energy cause my PC runs 24/7
So I changed to a watercooled rig. :)
Is the Vapochill PE more silent than the normal Version ? Cools good ? Anyone here who has it ? Ok for Lan-Parties ?
The only thing i really (!!!) hated at the Vapochill was that i had to mess up the whole socket with silicon and as a matter of fact u lose ur guaranty then which sux. :(
I'd cool my R350 with a watercooling and the NortBridge too.
What would u say - take it or leave it ?
edit: saw that the PSU is mounted stupid  - any other possible methods to mount it in the casse ?
Greetz :p

I'd take it. I've never had one, but that is a great deal.

But 350$ is really cheap !

if your running 24/7 leave it, h20 gets the job done and doesnt cost you some extra cash for electricity. h20 only needs about 20-30W depends on your pump.
and i dont think the PE is quiter, it cools better, therefor its probably even louder.

I can hear the fan on my 9700 more than i can hear my vapochill. And a far as the guarantee. You can run it without the paste in the socket you wont lose your vapo guarantee, wont hurt the vapo a bit, Now your motherboard and chip are a different story, But if you running heavily clocked and a lot of volts, you wont get any condensation on the Pins or socket or MB, I've ran mine for weeks without on a amd, But over 2 volts and over 2600mhz. The chip was no where near freezing.

It's really cheap - buy it.
Try it out if you don't like it sell it to someone else adding 50% to the price you bought it for.

I would buy it. If you are that big of a silence freak, you can always swap the fans.

No don't buy it, stay with watercooing and give me your friend phone number :D :D
Without kidding, it's a great deal. If i were you i wouldn't think twice about it.
BTW when MJ said it was a steal, he meant it's a good deal :)
