Recently purchased a second saphire 1950xt 256mb card to run crossfire. After installing and enabling CF in CCC, I am still getting really low numbers in 3dmark.

System specs:
E4300@ 3.0Ghz
2 x x1950xt 256 mb (no dongle) Cat 7.5
2048mb Crucial Balistix @ DRR2-800
DFI Icfx 3200 T2R/G
PC&C 610W silencer
all on a fresh install of Win XP

In 06 with CF DISABLED I got ~5500 with CF enabled I got ~7500. Both of these seemed low, I was expecting about 9000 or so with CF enabled.

Additionally when Playing games like Stalker and Call Of Juarez I see no improvment from when I was running one card.

Also the fan on the new card (old one is WC) is quite noticible when it spins up, problem is that when running benchmarks or games I never hear it spin up which makes me think this card isn't actually being used.

Are these scores appropriate for this system or have I missed something?

Those scores look pretty right for un-overclocked X1950 pro's, but you have XT's so it should be higher

Welcome to the wonderful world of crossfire not working

I had crossfire X1950XTX+master and even with the dongle I only managed to get it to work once and I could not reproduce it.

Oh, a single 8800GTX was faster for me.

Ok I fixed the problem! Previously i had my PCI-E bus overclocked to 105. I set it back to 100 because apparently in corssfire my board automatically overclocks the PCI-E bus! I overclocked the cards to their max in CCC overdrive and now I get 10,300 in 3DMark 06 and like 17,000 in 05! Thanks for everyone's help
