whats cooling the 9800? im pretty shure your gonna have to do somthing about the card clocks to do anything noticeably higher. maybe volt mod it and get a waterloop for it and you should be in there.

The 9800 has the standard heatsink and i glued a delta 80mm fan to it :)
the standard setup would only goto about 400 core and 340 mem!!
Im really unlucky when it comes to oc'in :(
My cpu isnt too bad though - wish it would go higher - the sh1t mobo i have MSI crap fried my CPU with its crappy corecenter software - when i complained to MSI they told me to fuk off !!!
sad really :( - the software was faulty and shoved 2.2V through the chip - which of course it didnt like !!!
My old chip got to over 4.25Ghz :D

Salmanzer - My Sandra Buffered mem scores beat yours at 3.8Ghz. I feel you need to do some tweaking.
And you cant really blame MSI for your score as OPP was No#1 using his MSI.
Your 9800 does suck. My Sapphire did 486/380 out of the box.
And ill tell you what got me to 23k+ - AIRCONDITIONING, I cannot stress how much difference a cool environment helps.

well, you've got ONE main broblem - radeon clocks sucks:( It's holding you back. Then install Cat 3.4, give me 300 points in 2001SE. And probably you need to tweak up your OS better - something is wrong...

Ive tried everything to get a better sandra buffered score - that MSI mobo is crap !!!! and its just died on me again - another RMA !!!! Jeeze :(
Im well stressed !!!
Ive tried all sorts of memory timings - dont work - if it set it any higher than 2.5 3 3 7 the mobo doesnt boot - at any voltage !!!!!
Im NOT happy :(
