That's it. Got him to 9.0x334MHz with ease, only needed 1.425v. Runing some Orthos now. Any advices on freq. wall, or lower vcore?
BTW I'm using a TR XP90 + Tornado @ 7v.

Runing now @ 32C idle, and 39~42C Orthos. Ambient temp is 22C.
Is 1.525v safe for DualCore 90nm AMD?

i wouldn't go higher than 1.55v on water but thats just me. as long as you can keep the temps down, i say your good.
nice clocks man, hitting 3ghz is what i want to do too. just haven't gotten around to it :D
what prg are you using to report the load temp s?

I'll surelly do it! But before I'll have to get some timings tuned! MAL and RP are so different from my 148 Opty...

1.55v kinda scares me too.... And it's good to remember that CPUs with EXACT same stepping may differ on highest frequency... but you're low on vcore too... who knows.. maybe 1.450v or even 1.475v.... with good cooling, I doubt it wont get to 3GHz...

Got it from a local dealer wich had this only dualcore 939 cpu left... lol....
I said: "Hi, I need a DualCore s939 CPU", and she said "I have this one, but it is an Opteron, not meant for desktop computers". I took a look at it... and thought "something is wrong here... where's my bad luck when buying hardware??"

Darn. I am looking to buy an Opteron 165, and I was hoping that I could possibly (If I ordered like right now) get one from the same batch.
Oh well.
