OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1v - 153 USD
or
OCZ OCZ2TA1000VX22GK 2GB Kit PC2-8000 Titanium Alpha VX2 Dual Channel Memory 4-4-4-15 @ 2.35v - 177 USD
I'm looking for Best Overclocking. and Lowest Latency as possible.

I've done many research on majority of RAM modules and OCZ Platinum and Titanium Alpha VX2 are also a couple of them. If you look under section you'll see I've posted several topics on various RAM kits already and you should be able to find out a lot more infos.
Now answer your question.
OCZ Platinum 8500 from the reviews WILL yield better OC-ability at CL5/CL4 and the voltage necessary than the Titanium Alpha VX2 that's "pre-OC'ed" to PC2-1000 at 2.35v so its OC room is limited than that of the Platinum 8500.

Thanks for the answer. So the Titanium is pre-overclocked and the Platinum isn't. Got'cha, thanks.

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit
vs
OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit
are they the same? or what? I preferably want to go with the OCZ.
The Billistix are the WR holder and most likely the faster or the 2.

I vote crucial due to the simple fact that they appearently dont change to some cheap IC after everybody has hyped their product.

Is there any difference between the BALLISTIX and the BALLISTIX TRACER. Besides the LEDs. Because if i get Ballistix i want the tracer for the looks AND performance.

1. We narrowed down between OCZ 8500 kits and Crucial 8500 kits and it's clearly that Crucial Ballistix is the WINNER here.
2. Now Ballistix vs Ballistix Tracers: Besides just the preety and fancy LEDs as a cosmetic factor, some would argue that Ballistix Tracers has higher binned chips but this isn' a confirmed source of info. It may be just rumours and those people who spread that rumour may be more price sensitive becouse Tracers do cost more than regular Ballistix ($40 ~ $60 difference)
In general, they're both essecially the same and yield about the same overclocking-ability. It's just a matter of chance, your taste for their appearance and price you'd have to pay.
Since you're located in Michigan, USA, I don't know how convinient or inconvinient is for you to buy one from NCIX.com as they have BOTH Ballistix 8500 and Ballixtix TRACER 8500 on sale at an incredible price. The Ballistix TRACER only cost $10 more and in my opinion it's a better investment.
In fact, I just exchange a pair of Ballistix 8500 that I recently bought for the Ballistix Tracer 8500 :)
By the time you want to upgrade again and the ram's value will depreciate, at leat the Tracer will still worth a little more than a regular Ballistix when you compare their regular prices
My 4 cents

Hey im in MI too, Trenton.
Also all the Ballistix memory modules have D9 in them, even the DDR2-667, so you really only need them.
Anything here is D9:

I personally like G.Skill, these HZ are D9, and for 105$ it is a bargain:

you cant go wrong with ballistix, high quality PCB, high binned, guaranteed D9GMH chips.

Idk what's up with the HZ's now. I've heard rumors of Elipda IC's now and stuff, but it's just a rumor.
I'm actually probably going to purchase Crucial Ballistix//Tracers too just because there's a very very good chance you will get high binned RAM chips. I've yet to hear about a ballistix kit which couldn't overclock past 1000 mhz. =). To me, that sounds like a very secure buy for an overclocker... something you can't find with other computer hardware, lol.
