300 HTT on a mATX board is certainly not bad! I loved my Abit NF-M2 nView, even though it didn't OC as well as your board. nVidias new 7050PV + nF 630a combo looks interesting indeed.
But the mATX OC-king seems to be the the Biostar 7050 board... (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=142321) 355 HTT is just incredible!

he's one of abit tester in my country...
it would not be a hard way to get it :D :D
@hazzan
it might be the BIOS... Brisbane can scale easily to 3GHz-ish

I seem to hit a wall to at FSB:300 no matter multipiler.
When i get my Swiffy MCW30 in place ille try to give it som serius voltage :D (the SB)

Mine maxes at FSB300 aswell :)
Next bios might bering some more joy?
Another bug I found - If you get a failed boot (from trying to boot over 300, or otherwise) when it recovers after a reset, it gets locked into safe mode, and you cant overclock again.
Have to clear CMOS completely.
Anyone else notice the 'not for production use' IGP bios? :yepp:

I didnt, but in xtream cases, It wont post anything, and i have to unplug the whole system, and clear cmos.
But it is good to se that im not the only one hitting a wall at 300 :)

New bios released on the 11th of June
ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/bios/nfm2/nfm214.zip
Try to set TRC to 26 in the bios, I was able to go from 300 to 316mhz easily after that

"All brisbane X2 3600+ easy to 3Ghz"
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
LOL. that would be nice, but, unfortunately, untrue......i have read of several who didn't/couldn't get 3 gig.....
Maybe a better statement would be that MOST of the Brisbane X2 3600+ cpu make 3 gig, stable is another avenue not thoroughly investigated yet either.....
laterz
to the OP, i got an X2 3600+ Brisby running on an AM2 riser card on a AsRock 939 Dual (they live on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) w/4gig of Adata pc6400 running 1/1, 488.1 mhz (976.2)....running w/4 gig to test the functionality of all four dimms loaded up, this is on the test bench, so far so good.....
these little nuggets do work nicely....
BTW, i am one of the 3600+ Brisbane owners that CAN'T get 3 gig, can't even get to 2.8gig.................and just so's ya know, i got an opty 165 in the main rig that will do 3.2gig max, runs stock volts @2.84gig 24/7....seems
AMD is stuck on 3 gig right now for most of their newer CPU's

Lot of motherboards give wrong temperature reading for Brisbane.
@Hazzan: Maybe you should ask abit engineering to fix that too, because temperature readings you showed me seems impossible :)
Just around 10 C @ 2850 MHz with Scythe Ninja?
That would be great if true... :)

They do run a lot cooler but 10 seems a bit far fetched.
Mine is at 1.35V @ 2.8G and the heatsink even with a 120 mm running at 5v is not even warm to the touch. (Thermy HR01)

I'm willing to bet you're being held back by the clocking abilities of the AM2 riser card. I haven't seen an X2 3600+ that couldn't hit 2.8 in a good board.

"that couldn't hit 2.8 in a good board."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
????? still isn't 3 gig as I was alluding too. and, yes, i agree, until i put a vcore mod on the riser card, clocking will be severly limited.......limited to 1.35 vcore max right now...
i am pulling the trigger on a true AM2 board, it has come down to a choice between two boards................

300 is easy,, im sitting at 333 and have booted into windows at 350
the 3600 brisbane uses a 9.5x multi DONT overclock like that kick it down to a solid 9x multi and the baord loves it
Abit also released a new bios for this mobo
http://www.lejabeach.com/ABIT/nf-m2/
bios 14
temps are still wrong even though they claimed to have calibrated them.
i will flash mine tonight and find out.
in the meantime someone else try it lol.

Lestat you're the second person to link the bios of the wrong board in this thread
Can you edit your post before you confuse people? :P , I think you've entered the thread thinking it was about the nf-m2, otherwise, tell us how you got over 300 on the AN-m2..
and btw, the temps are actually right on the AN I've found.. finally

how about now is there any bios that can fix overclock past 300, need help
How about using a clockgen to bypass the 300MHz limitation? Or is'nt there support?
My motherboard does 340 stable (nforce 550, Gigabyte M55S3).
