not soo good temps but it works so wth..and that was my goal for my first build

im using a hairdryer to simulate some kind of load..:D
im going t order some stuff and build a real loadtester for my next build..

i will get a rotary next week and will build a dualevapp system for my gfx cards..

i will try this one hopefully this weekend im w8 for some enclosures to my evap..

im using 134 in this system, im going to change it to 404 or 507 as soon as i get a loadtester..
i just wanted to see that i worked at so it did..

very neat for a first system, you could probably get some better temps with even r290

I think it can be overcharged, I mean with 3meters of captube (correct me if I'm wrong, I think you told me that before) you should get lot's more vacuum even with r134a.

R404a vill make the magic! wait and see :)

btw.. is it same type of evap as your gpu blocks?

rotary is already packed, ready to be shipped :)

hahaha your going all crazy... cascade and then phase on gpu's :D :D :D
Really impressive, but a case(mdf or cheap wood even) would get a lot more credit...

Nice job for your first build :).

Those temps are fine for r134a. Try r290 if you want colder temps before you get r404a or r507a :).

thanks for all the suggestions..

as i said next week im starting a new build with a rotary comp, and i will use this flexhose and evapp for that build..this is just a test so i can see that i works,
so how it looks doesent really matter because i want keep it..

but the next one will maybe get a box of some sort..i dont know yet, i dont really care how it looks as long as it works :D

i have 3 more of theese aspera comps here at home and maybe i will build something out of them in a nice case or so..

tim

you are right 3m cap tube.. it was overcharged at first but i have let gas out and now the only thing that gets frosty is the flexhose and down to evapp.. before the coppertube all the way in to the compressor and some on that too..

if you mean is it the evapps i have made, then yes it is them

that sounds nice, i guess you can ship it on monday when the money comes :D

i will post more pics when i have changed gas and have a real loadtester.. and hopefully my new system will be finished in the end of next week..

I will definitely I will ship your rotary on monday when money arrives :)
and yes I was thinking about the evaps you had made for the gpus!

I must say unit looks good, much better then my first unit!

If you are going to make a 2header with this evap, why put time in tuning a system you are going to split anyway? ofcourse I understand its interesting and fun but little bit waste of time and refrigrant if you ask me.

On your next unit, make a shroud for your fan. Right now I think your fan is doing a lot of extra work, and even if you have a case, you will still benefit from it nicely. If you're re-using the condenser/fan, you could try it now and carry that over too :D.

Hope that helps!

i have a shroud for it i havent felt like putting it in place..

tim it just cost me like 50kr, 5euro to get i refilled so..and its fun to try and see what i can get, and i want it as cold as possible when i run it on 1 of my gfx cards.. and when iam at the company that filles it for me i learn how to do it myself..

yes it is a waste of time, but im interested in seeing what this compressor can do how cold the evapp can be...

like i said i have 3 more of these comps and im going to build systems of them to, so its nice to know what i can expect..

but right now i think i will not refill this one with new gas, as i said hopefully i will be ready with the rotary system next friday, and i will try to run this on my gfx this weekend..going to run cascade tonight..

does anyone have any ideas on how i can mount my evapp on my gfx card without any real enclosure, im w8 for 2,but i wont get them until next week, and i would like to run my gfx card with this system today..
and i dont know what to use to get good contact with the gpu
give me ideas

thanks

you can use a piece of lexan/acrylic with insulation between evap and encloser. in the lexan piece you drill holes for mounting.. easy and it works.
