So, basically I'm looking for a new mobo. I'm saving up for what I hope to be a Q6600/Striker (extreme) after price drops in July.
Whilest browsing my retailer's website I saw both a Striker and a Striker Extreme. I did some googling, but I could not find a difference between them. What causes the €40 difference? I have no idea what to buy now :(
Who will help me?

there are some smaller features that are on the extreme that aren't on the vanilla, but it shouldn't make a big difference. they both still have their LCDs.

Well yeah, basically it's the 3x PCIe 16 and LCD that I like... I'm looking at a 6-unit display setup in the future :). Commando didn't offer that.

For whatever it's worth, my initial experience and subsequent internet searching suggests that the current rev of the Striker Extreme is NOT a good match for the Q6600 if you plan on any overclocking. I'm ok at a a FSB of 333 MHz (3.0 GHz CPU) but can't get higher yet. Apparently 333-345 MHz is the typical range due to some sort of voltage issue that can only be corrected with a board mod. If anyone knows differently, I'd love to hear about it and be proven wrong.
Good luck.

Then get to modding! We aren't called Xtreme for nothing!
