Getting close to my new Rig...

About 3 weeks away from getting my new PC (! :D ) and my thoughts on a Rig are getting pretty close to what they will be for the final decision. What im thinking is in my Sig. Please post any of your thoughts questions here.

Here are just some thing(s) i should point out:

1) Do you like the case ive picked?

Im not running vista.. Im using this for gaming (mostly) so im going to wait till vista gets the bugs out and what not, then ill upgrade to home premium.

What CM Stacker are you getting? The STC-T01 or the 810?
Both are awesome cases. I went with the STC-T01 for the option of a top or bottom psu mount. After buying it though i decided to get a watercooling setup so its a bottom mount for me :P They're amazing cases. Extremely well built. I have enough room for my watercooling setups (Going to comprise of a Swiftech MCR320 mounted in the roof and a Thermochill PA120.2, 2 DDC-2 Pumps with petras tech tops & a Swiftech Microres) and im still going to have room for my 3in4module + a dvd drive.

The ram, i would suggest some Team Xtreem DDR2 PC6400 3-3-3-8. It is a little pricey, but it is the best ram money can buy.

Other than that, looks good.

Thats a nice case, im not gonna lie. You have fun w/ that build tho looks amazing. If you wanna OC your E6600 the most get a tuniq tower tho, thats the best air you'll ever see.
If i were you i'd prolly get a mobo w/ P35 chipset, thats just me tho. But if you want SLI later then... But the P35's hit 600FSB!!! :worship:

You should look into the G.Skill HK or HZ sticks. There are many threads about the PK in which they clock well. Same goes for the HZ.

I'd actually recommend the thermaltake Big typhoon. That thing is the only other air cooling heatsink that's better than the tuniq tower :) . it also cools the temps around your socket a lot better than the upright heatsinks.

because you'll probably overclock your cpu with increasing FSB and increasing FSB will cause increasing of RAM frequency, so you need a good memory that will be able to work on high frequencies.
